KPAX, Altitude to televise Griz
By the Missoulian

Saturday's Division I-AA quarterfinal between No. 10 Southern Illinois and No. 2 Montana will be all over the airways - and the World Wide Web.

Both Montana's News Stations, including KPAX here in Missoula, and Altitude Sports and Entertainment have acquired the television rights from ESPN and will air the game live. Kickoff is at 12:35 p.m. Mountain from Washington-Grizzly Stadium.

Altitude Sports and Entertainment is available on Dish Network Channel 410 and DirecTV Channel 644. Montana's News Stations have aired all of Montana's Big Sky Conference games as well as last week's first-round win over McNeese State.

ESPN's Dave Armstrong will call the play-by-play for the game and former NFL quarterback Kelly Stouffer will provide color commentary. ESPN is showing the game tape-delayed at 7:30 p.m. Mountain.

The ESPN production will also be carried at www.bigskytv.org free of charge. Fans are encouraged to visit the Web site prior to Saturday to register for the game, and to make sure their computer is capable of streaming the contest.

According to the Big Sky Conference, more than 10,000 fans watched Montana's first-round game against McNeese State and Montana State's first-round game against Furman on www.bigskytv.org.

Montana State's quarterfinal game against Appalachian State will be available on ESPN2 live. Because of that, Big Sky TV could not acquire rights to that game.
