Dave Dickenson has signed a contract extension with the Lions.
Details of the extension, which the club announced late Sunday night, were not released.
The 34 year-old Montana native and fifth-year Lion was also named the most outstanding player in last season's Grey Cup victory over the Montreal Alouettes.
"Dave is an outstanding leader on our football club and I am very pleased to have this agreement in place," Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono said in a statement. "The quality of quarterbacks on our roster gives our fans a lot to be excited about and provides our team with stability for seasons to come."
Dickenson currently ranks fourth in Lions history with his 12,833 passing yards and 87 TDs. In his four seasons with the Lions, the team has finished in first place in the West Division three times, played in two Grey Cups and earned one championship.
Dickson played collegiately at Montana, where he led the Grizzlies to a 1995 national champsionship in NCAA Division I-AA.
