The parade is at noon and the one-and-only performance begins at 2 p.m. Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children and free for “little kids.”
For the first time the rodeo will offer buckles to the winners. The added money has also been doubled from $500 to $1,000 for each event ($2,000 for team roping).
The circuit's top bull rider, Craig Dalgarno, is not entered, but the No. 2 man, Levi Hendrickson of Arlee, heads a list of 13 bull riders.
A total of 48 barrel racers are entered, with 38 of those scheduled for slack at 9 a.m.
National Finals Rodeo qualifier Josh Reynolds of Corvallis heads a list of a dozen saddle bronc riders scheduled to compete. Another five are scheduled for the morning slack.
The Missoula Osprey also have a pair of home games Sunday at 5 p.m. and Monday at 7 p.m. against Great Falls.
The Missoula Mavericks play their first home Legion baseball game since June 25 when the Great Falls Stallions visit Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Lindborg-Cregg Field.
Missoula will also play host to the state's best shotgunners when the 113th annual State Trap Meet begins Wednesday at the Missoula Trap and Skeet Club. The meet runs through next Sunday.
