Northern Iowa kept the top spot for the second consecutive week. The Panthers routed then-No. 17 Western Illinois 42-3 on Saturday. North Dakota State, which beat Minnesota of the Big Ten 27-21, stayed at No. 2.
The Grizzlies received 11 first-place votes, down from the 40 they got in last week's poll.
