Carroll to host St. Francis in NAIA football semis

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics has announced the official pairings for the Football Championship Series semifinal round.

On Saturday, No. 1-seed Sioux Falls will host No. 9 Missouri Valley at 11 a.m., MST, and No. 2 Carroll College will host No. 5 St. Francis, Ind., at 12:07 p.m., MST.

Defending national champion Sioux Falls is undefeated and riding an overall 26-game winning streak. The Sioux Falls/Missouri Valley game is a rematch of last year's semifinal game, in which USF won 25-18.

St. Francis is appearing in its fifth straight semifinal round, while Carroll is in its seventh semifinal battle in the past eight years.

The 52nd annual championship will be held Dec. 15 in Hardin County, Tenn. It will be televised live on College Sports Television.
