Governor orders lowering of flags after soldier's death

HELENA - Flags in Montana will fly at half staff on Wednesday and Thursday.

The governor's order to lower flags follows the death of Army Sgt. Michael Sturdivant in Iraq. The Army says the 20-year-old soldier died Jan. 22nd when a vehicle rolled over during a convoy operation.

Sturdivant was from Conway, Ark. Parents Victor and Cheryl Sturdivant live in Bonner, near Missoula.
