The following students from Missoula have been named to the Whitworth University Laureate Society for fall semester 2007: Katherine Murk, Ellen Seagraves, Daniel Belet, Bryan Olson.
Natalie Neumann and Dan Boyce, students at the University of Montana, earned honors in the Hearst Journalism Awards program. Neumann plased 8th with her stories focusing on a graffiti artist, a cartographer whose work has been impacted by climate change and the Run for Respect. Boyce placed 14th with his stories on a homeless man, UM Forester's Ball and the new Native American Studies Center.
