Getting Ahead

New associates

Aaron Brock has joined Missoula Aging Services as development officer. Brock has a master’s degree in nonprofit management from Regis University in Denver and served most recently as development director for the Missoula Food Bank. Brock will work with local donors to bring financial resources for the programs offered by MAS.

Alicia Crandall has joined Missoula Aging Services as a volunteer services specialist. She will work primarily with the Foster Grandparent and Senior Companion programs. Crandall has a bachelor’s degree from Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, and extensive experience in social services.

Kevin McManigal has joined Adventure Cycling Association as a geographic information system specialist and cartographer.

Certification



Jeremy Betty, Mark McQuirk, Amy Peterson, Karla Rosenbaum, Molly Round and Lara Dorman of Lambros Real Estate ERA?have earned their Graduate Realtor Institute designations.

Theresa Zetterberg of Mother-Bear Daycare in Lolo and Penny Hume of Penny’s Playpen of Victor have been accredited through the National Association for the Family Child Care.

Matt S. Hall of Hall-Widdoss & Co. P.C. has received his real estate appraiser certification. Hall is a graduate of the University of Montana.

Recognition



Geodata Services Inc. received the 2008 Foundation Partner of the Year award from the Olympia Regional Office of ESRI, a geographic information system software developer.

Sara McCauley, a junior at Hellgate High School, received the Post Commander Award and Claudia H. Brown received the Dale and Coby Johnson Award for Volunteer Service from the Friends of the Historical Museum at Fort Missoula.

Montana Ladies Auxiliary president Monica Mills of Polson was honored during the National Mid-Year Conference of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars for achieving 85 percent membership by Dec. 31, 2007.

Brian Bolenbaugh, owner of the Missoula Miracle-Ear location, was named to the company’s Platinum Club.

The Jeannette Rankin Peace Center and the Missoula Peace Quilters have selected Carel Schneider and the group she started in 2001, the Missoula Women in Black, as the recipient of the 2008 Peacemaker Award.

Jim Day, Goldie Dobak and Dacy Holland of Coldwell Banker Wachholz & Co. received the Coldwell Banker Sterling Society award, which is given to the top 10.35 percent of the company’s sales associates nationwide.

The following were top producers in March for Lambros Real Estate ERA: Jack Wade, residential; Ed Coffman and Karen Reyner, commercial; Catherine Anne Taylor, Hamilton; Randy Moore, Kalispell; Laurie Page, Seeley Lake; and Irene Marchello, Polson.

The Missoula Cultural Council has presented the following Cultural Achievement Awards: Cultural Achievement Award, Tom and Anne Boone for advocacy and philanthropy, and Ray and?Susie Risho for support and dedication; Business Support for the Arts Award, Advanced Litho Printing.

Andre Marcure of Farmers Union Insurance was named to the company’s Mile High Summit. Marcure has been with Farmers Union since 1993.
