Missoula won the first game 13-5 and the second 9-5 in eight innings to move to 3-1 for the season.
Brody Miller was 2-for-4 with a solo home run and three runs scored for the Mavs in the opener. Riley King was 2-for-5 with three RBIs. Brent Daugherty pitched the first four innings to pick up the win.
Conner Anderson was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs for the Mavs in the nightcap. Derrick Dauenhauer was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI and Daugherty was 2-for-2.
Missoula will host the Bitterroot Bucs on Wednesday at 6 p.m. at Lindborg-Cregg Field.

Mariners split with AA Lakers
At Polson, the defending Class A state champion Mission Valley Mariners took the first of a twin bill with the AA Kalispell Lakers 9-6 before falling 19-9 in the nightcap.
Tom Rausch tripled and had three RBIs for the Mariners in Game 1, while John Rausch had a double and an RBI. Eric Locke also doubled for Mission Valley.
Derrick Rathe (1-0) got the win in relief, throwing the final 4 1-3 innings, allowing a hit and seven walks. He struck out one.
Locke hit a two-run homer in the first inning of the second game, but the Lakers broke a 9-9 tie with 10 runs in the top of the seventh.
Kalispell shortstop Austin Roehl hit a fifth-inning grand slam and had five RBIs.
The Mariners return to action next weekend at the Ranger Rendezvous in Eureka.

Wranglers, Salmon split
At Deer Lodge, the Wranglers and Salmon, Idaho, split a season-opening doubleheader.
Salmon won the first game 10-2 before Deer Lodge bounced back to take the nightcap 9-8.
Doss Barbarick was 4-for-5 with two doubles and an RBI for the Savages in the opener.
Will Anderson was 3-for-4 with a double for the Wranglers.
Anderson drove home Dean Despain with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh in the nightcap. Anderson finished 2-for-4.
Deer Lodge, 1-1, will travel to Anaconda to take on the A's on Wednesday night.
