McBride, whose ninth studio album, “Waking Up Laughing,” was released last year, brings her band to the stage for a 7:30 p.m. show.

She has had numerous No. 1 country hits, many of which also appear on adult contemporary charts. McBride's commercial breakthrough was 1993's “The Way That I Am,” from which three songs appeared in the Top 40, including “Independence Day,” a song about domestic violence.
Her biggest commercial success was 2005's “Timeless,” a recording of classic country songs that reached the No. 1 spot on the charts.
The 41-year-old McBride is also known for her charity work campaigning to end domestic violence against women. She is the spokeswoman for the National Domestic Violence Hotline.
