Down 6-4 in the first game, the Bucs pounded out eight hits their nine-run, sixth-inning. Tyler Lind's two-run single gave Bitterroot the lead for good.
Billy Hanna went 2-for-4 with an RBI and Matt Perez added a double for the Bucs.
For the Mavericks, Matt McMann singled three times and Andrew Schmautz collected two RBIs.
Brent Daugherty moved to 5-1 in pitching Missoula to the win in Game 2. He gave up an earned run on five hits and four walks in going the distance. The Mavs moved to 1-1 in league play, 19-10 overall.
McMann added another three-hit outing and Brody Miller went 2-for-4 with a pair of RBIs for Missoula.

Mission Valley sweeps
At Polson, the Mission Valley Mariners took both sides of a Class A doubleheader with the Libby Loggers, winning the first game 3-1 and the second 7-6.
Eric Locke went the distance on the mound for the M's in the opener and allowed five hits
Kyle Bagnell doubled and was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Mission Valley and Locke singled and drove in a run.
The Mariners pushed across a run in the bottom of the seventh in the nightcap to complete the sweep.
Mission Valley improved to 20-8, led by Tyler Linse who doubled and had two RBIs.
Rory Hendrickson had a double and drove in a pair for Libby.

Wranglers win two
At Anaconda, the Class A Deer Lodge Wranglers earned a 17-4 win in five innings and a 4-2 victory over the Anaconda A's.
Dean Despain had four RBIs and a double to lead the Deer Lodge charge in the first game and Blake Niederklein pitched a five-hitter to get the win on the mound.
Anderson matched Neiderklein's performance in the second contest, throwing a five-hitter in the Deer Lodge win.
