Professional engineer Todd Kuxhaus has joined Great West Engineering Inc. as project manager. Kuxhaus has more than 12 years of experience in engineering-, construction- and environmental-related projects. He has been the lead engineer for a variety of municipal and private development projects including drinking water supply, sanitary sewer, stormwater conveyance, roads and parking area projects.

Gus Chambers, a television producer for the Broadcast Media Center at the University of Montana and Montana PBS, received an Emmy Award from the Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. Chambers received the award for Individual Accomplishment in Audio for his historical documentary “Hidden Fire: The Great Butte Explosion.”

Angela (Listug) Vap, DPT, CMPT, FAAOPMT, has been named a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy. for demonstrating advanced clinical, analytical and handson skills in the treatment of musculoskeletal disorders. Vap is the only physical therapist in the state of Montana with this certification.The May/June issue of Draft magazine named Kettlehouse Brewing Co. LLC’s Cold Smoke Scotch Ale one of the top 10 beers to drink from a can. Cold Smoke Scotch Ale received a gold medal at the 2007 North American Brewers Association Beer Awards. Kettlehouse Brewing Co. is the first microbrewery in Montana in 30 years to can its beer, and the brewery is planning an expansion to a larger production facility later this year.
Kettlehouse Brewing Co. LLC received two gold medals at the 2008 North American Brewers Association brewfest. Its Double Haul IPA received a gold medal in the Englishstyle India pale ale category and its Olde Bongwater Hemp Porter received a gold medal in the robust porter category.
