Fresh produce coupons still available for seniors

Coupons good for the purchase of fresh produce at local farmers markets are still available to eligible seniors. Eligible participants are 60 years of age or older, live in Missoula County and meet income guidelines. The maximum income for an individual is $1,127 per month. Once eligibility is determined, individuals receive coupons to be used through the 2008 season. Seniors may apply at Missoula Aging Services, 336 Stephens Ave., 8 a.m.-5 p.m. week days or call Rachel, 728-7682.

The eighth annual collector’s sale to benefit the Rocky Mountain Museum of Military History will take place July 4 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Building T-316. The museum welcomes donations of antiques, antlers, beadwork, books, camping gear, chaps, cast iron cookware, dishes, crocks, filing cabinets, firearms, hunting and fishing equipment, knives, lamps, musical instruments, old toys, paintings, quality furniture, saddles and tack, souvenirs, sporting gods, trunks, wagon wheels, etc. Call 549-6280 for free pickup or bring to the museum from noon-5 p.m. seven days a week.

The Guardian Angel Ninth Annual Auto and Motorcycle Fun Run will take place Sunday, July 20, at Lochsa Lodge. There will be live entertainment by Montana Tropical Marimba Ensemble, a silent auction, raffle, barbecue and more.
