Anthony Maes tossed a six-hitter in the opener for the Mavs and boosted his mark to 2-3. Maes struck out seven and walked two.
At the plate, Missoula was led by Robby King, who was 4-for-4 with an RBI. Brody Miller doubled twice and drove in three runs while Collin LaPorte collected two RBIs and finished 2-for-3. LaPorte's single scored Jordan Schafer with the game-winning run in the seventh.
Winning pitcher Brent Daugherty threw five innings, allowing nine hits and two walks. He fanned three as Missoula improved to 4-10 in league play, 31-26 overall.

Sox and Bucs split
At Florence, the Bitterroot Red Sox scored a 15-7 Class A victory over the Bitterroot Bucs in the first game of a doubleheader before the Bucs responded with a 15-8 win the second game.
Mike Stanford belted a grand slam and a double to finish 3-for-4 with five RBIs as the Red Sox took the opener. Rodee Anderson went 3-for-5 with a two-run homer in the second inning and Matt Hamlin added a double and two RBIs in his 3-for-4 outing for the Sox.
Ryan Weigle went six innings to earn the win on the mound for the Red Sox, allowing nine hits and two walks while striking out eight.
Matt Perez was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for the Bucs and Billy Hanna finished 2-for-4 with an RBI.
Hanna drove in three and was 2-for-3 in leading the Bucs to victory in Game 2. Jeremy Johnson doubled and drove in a run and Luke Topp singled three times for the Bucs.
On the mound Johnson allowed 11 hits and four walks to go with a pair of strike outs in six innings to get the win.
Weigle was 2-for-4 with a two-run homer for the Red Sox.

Dillon and Deer Lodge split
At Deer Lodge, Zach McRae led Dillon to a 5-3 extra-inning victory in the first of a Class A twin bill before the Wranglers rebounded with a 6-3 win in the second contest.
McRae was dominant on the mound in Game 1, allowing six hits and striking out 17, but the Cubs needed a two-run ninth to score the victory. McRae drove in the game-winning run on a single before Dakota Norris scored an insurance tally on a passed ball.
McRae paced the Dillon bats, going 3-for-4, while Norris and Luke Renfree added two singles apiece. Kacy Schwend drove in two for Dillon.
Paul Vasquez doubled and had an RBI for Deer Lodge.
Andy Stefalo tossed a five-hitter in leading the Wranglers to victory in the second game. He collected nine strike outs as Deer Lodge moved to 11-5 in league play, 20-25 overall.
Dean Despain led the Wrangler offense, finishing 3-for-3 with a triple and three RBIs.
McRae doubled and singled twice for the Cubs, who dipped to 11-3, 29-25.
