WE CARE - Helping people in need

A mother and her two sons who were living at the Carole A. Graham Home are now living in the Cove Apartments. The mother has made a significant shift toward a positive future and is registered at the University of Montana for the fall semester. She is in need of a 6-foot wooden bookshelf, 3-4 feet wide; a wooden desk with drawers, a twin bed, and two dressers. If you can help, please call Deborah, 549-8309.

• A young mother of two who works to support her family is in need of a free vehicle or bicycle, in good condition, to travel to work across town each day. If you are able to help, call Mountain Home at 541-4663.

• A disabled female veteran who lost everything in a fire needs help with grocery vouchers, gas vouchers and assistance in paying her energy bill. Contact Sue Ellerman, case manager at the Western Montana Mental Health Center, at 532-9748.

• A single mom with no car has just reunited with her 4-year-old daughter and is in need of a bike trailer or a Trail-A-Bike for appointments. Call Whitney Peters at the Mental Health Center, 532-9790.

• A former client of the Carole A. Graham Home and her two children have moved into their own apartment and are in need of some basic furnishings. Items needed include a vacuum cleaner, pots and pans, cookie sheets, kitchen knives/block, toaster, canisters, dish towels, glasses, lamps, plants, bath mats, kids’ hangers, phone stand, bedding for queen and twin beds, baking and casserole dishes, kitchen utensils, blender, spice rack, juicer, hot pads, kids’ cups and dishes, towels and washcloths, curtains, bath towels, bookshelf.
