Casey Cox, 19; William Grose, 20, and Steve Becklund, 21, have pleaded guilty in Justice Court. Morgan Dorseth, 19, who was shot in the face with a high-powered rifle, has pleaded not guilty to the two misdemeanor charges. Becklund and Grose paid $370 in fines while Cox is seeking a deferred sentence.
Court records said the young men "entered unlawfully into an occupied structure" and disturbed the peace by "rocking the camp trailer back and forth with the resident inside."
Lars Dorseth, Morgan's brother, said the incident was part of a pattern of harassment that Schueneman has endured for years.
"He's most definitely been a victim of harassment for well over a decade - he's been through a lot of emotional turmoil over the years," Lars Dorseth said of Schueneman. "It's not his fault that this happened."
Lars Dorseth said his family has asked Christensen not to prosecute Schueneman.
Christensen said he has received several phone calls from Twin Bridges residents saying that Schueneman was the victim in the case.
"They said to me that the wrong person had been charged," Christensen said.
