New business
Steve Fletcher has opened a new law office and will continue practicing in the areas of Social Security disability, Worker's Compensation and personal injury, where he has 20 years of experience. Fletcher is a 1991 graduate of the University of Montana School of Law and received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of Montana in 1987.
Partners Creative, a Missoula based advertising and public relations agency, announced the expansion of the print production department with the addition of Lynn Eneas as production assistant. She will manage print buying and production workflow. Eneas attended the University of Montana, where she earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. Prior to joining Partners Creative, Eneas worked as a marketing analyst for the Montana Lottery.
Bob Gieseke has joined First Interstate Bank as a commercial loan officer to the Hamilton branch. Gieseke is a graduate of Montana State University, and has earned a degree in business marketing and management, and a minor in small business management.
Dusty Hilmo has joined Workforce Inc. as the sales and marketing director. Hilmo has 30 years of safety and human resource experience in construction and manufacturing.
Roxie Richwine accepted the office manager position at Grant Creek Family Practice, an affiliate of St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center.
Jason Erickson has been appointed by Treasure State Bank as vice president/commercial lender. Erickson is a 2002 graduate of the University of Montana, where he earned a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in finance and a minor in political science. Erickson is involved with the Missoula Area Chamber of Commerce, Missoula Midtown Association, Montana Community Development Corporation and United Way of Missoula County.
Rocky Mountain Bank has named Kim LaPierre as its newest mortgage originator. She will primarily work from the bank's Stevensville (220 Main St.) and Plains (108 E. Railroad) offices, but will also serve Missoula. LaPierre has 24 years experience in the mortgage lending industry and is originally from Missoula.
Promotions
Brent Wundrow has been promoted to the Missoula branch manager for Insurance Auto Auctions, Inc. He will also oversee IAA's new Billings facility, which will open by the end of September. Previously, Wundrow had been traveling and training for IAA in Washington, Utah and Georgia since April. IAA is North America's provider of automotive and specialty salvage solutions in the U.S. providing cost effective turnkey solutions to process and sell total-loss and theft recovered vehicles. IAA uses a hybrid model of selling to an International buyer base utilizing live and internet auctions. Wundrow holds a B.A. from the University of Montana.
Thomas Cuisine Management promoted Albert Henricks to Food Service director at their newest account, GlaxoSmithKline, in Hamilton. Henricks will manage GSK's new $3 million cafeteria operation, which opened June 9. He previously served for eight years as the TCM Sous Chef at St. Patrick Hospital.
Elected
The Montana Society of CPAs announced the selection of Jim Galipeau, CPA, CFE, as ex-officio for the 2008-2009 board year. Gallipeau served as president in 2004-2005 and will mentor President Ryan Screnar throughout his term. Galipeau is a shareholder at JCCS and works in the Missoula office. He graduated from the University of Montana in 1984. He is active both professionally and in his community as a member of the AICPA, MSCPA, ACFE, the Missoula Downtown Association, Chamber of Commerce and United Way. He also serves as the appointed CPA for the City of Missoula Impact Fee Committee. Galipeau also serves as the Elected Council representative of the American Institute of CPAs for the state of Montana and, along with the Society President, represents our state at the national level.

Recognition
Tammy Powers has been named St. Patrick Hospital and Health Sciences Center's Outstanding Employee for August.
“The Little Red Truck,” the Montana-based documentary film featuring the Missoula Children's Theater, won “Best Documentary” at Spud Festival in Driggs, Idaho and received the Parents Television Council Seal of Approval.
The Missoula Building Industry Association was recognized at a national conference with an Association Excellence Awards for “Communication- Special Events Publication” for the 2007 Parade of Homes Magazine. The magazine was designed by Kim Kinsinger of K Design Marketing, and the MBIA provided all editorial and advertising content. The MBIA also won an Association Excellence Award for “Best Special Interest Web Site” for its Missoula Green Building Initiative: www.missoulagbi.com. The Web site was designed by Rebecca Richter of Green Valley Designs with content and design input from MBIA.
Certification
Becky Broeder, an interior designer at Hunting & Gathering for the Home, has been certified as an Accredited Professional in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design after passing the LEED-AP for New Construction and Major Renovation exam.
Colleen Rudio with the Montana based accounting firm of Junkermier, Clark, Campanella, Stevens, P.C. (JCCS), received her Professional Behaviors Analyst (CPBA) and Professional Values Analyst (CPVA) certifications from The Rainmaker Group of Bismarck, N.D., and Target Training International of Scottsdale, Ariz.
