Credit union services merging
Posted on Oct. 6

By the Associated Press

GREAT FALLS - Two service providers that do back-office work for many of Montana's credit unions are merging.

Helena-based UniPro systems will merge with CUSource, which has offices in Great Falls and Billings. People at both firms say the merger will eliminate some overhead and help expand service offerings.

UniPro Systems processes draft shares, prints statements and other items and provides computer network security. UniPro has 20 employees.

CUSource also has 20 employees - 16 in Great Falls and four in Billings. It provides data processing and real estate loan-processing services for 27 Montana credit unions.

After the merger is complete, which is expected to be Oct. 15, the businesses will operate under the CUSource name. Tracy Houck of CUSource says all the employees will continue to work at their current locations.
