WE CARE - Families seek gift cards for holiday season

Child and Family Service Network is serving several families in need this holiday season. Wal-Mart gift cards in any denomination would greatly help these families to purchase food, clothing or other household items and children’s gifts. There is also a need for gas cards to ease the cost of transportation.

One particular family is in need of help. A mother and her son both suffer with mental health issues. They have been homeless in this last year. The mother is trying to get back on her feet. She has a vehicle that was donated to her to get to jobs and appointments, but the repairs have been a struggle. Money and gas have been an issue, along with school supplies and food. She needs studded tires size 70R15 for the back and 75R15s for the front. An oil change and tuneup are also needed.

If you can help, please call Sandy Cummins at 532-9795.

• A single mother of two children is struggling to get by. She is actively engaging in mental health treatment. She was recently approved for housing, but needs money for a deposit. If you can help, call Yoko Ichimura, adult case manager, Western Montana Mental Heath Center, 532-9700.

• A disabled Desert Storm war veteran is in need of various home supplies: vacuum, dish rack, bath towels, queen size bed sheets and a YMCA membership. If you can help call Jeff with Western Montana Mental Health Center, 532-9926.
