Montana AARP Tax-Aide is seeking volunteers to assist in preparation and e-filing individual tax returns for seniors and low income individuals in Missoula and Ravalli counties. Volunteers will receive free tax training and become IRS certified by passing a rather simple, limited-scope IRS exam. Once certified they will help taxpayers prepare electronic returns at designated tax sites or on teams assisting the homebound. Although tax training and certification is encouraged it is not required to assist in leadership and other positions supporting this program.

For more information on how you can join the AARP Tax-Aide Team in Missoula, call 543-7567 or 543-5089. For information on assisting in Hamilton or Stevensville call 383-1102.
