Excellence in Exporting nominations accepted

HELENA - Nominations for the 2008 Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award are being accepted.

Sponsors of that award are the Montana governor's office and the Montana District Export Council.

The award recognizes companies or individuals who have contributed to Montana's economy significantly through export sales. Export statistics for the past two years are among criteria in evaluating award contenders.

Nomination forms are available from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Nominations must be submitted to the District Export Council, in care of the Montana World Trade Center at the University of Montana in Missoula.

The deadline is Jan. 15.
