City Club Missoula’s December forum will feature a presentation by leaders from the Missoula Symphony, including conductor Darko Butorac and executive director John Driscoll.

The event is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 15 at a new location, the Holiday Inn Downtown at the Park.

As the symphony moves into its second year under the baton of Butorac and season tickets sales are at an all time high, the forum will include discussion about the symphony’s bigger plans within the Missoula arts community.

Butorac and Driscoll will discuss the role of music within the Missoula arts scene and more specifically, how they see the symphony continuing to function and thrive.

City Club Missoula forums are open to everyone. However, reservations are required.

Participants should indicate if they want lunch at $11 for members or $16 for nonmembers or the no-lunch option of forum only for $5.
