John Passuccio, financial consultant with D.A. Davidson & Co., has moved his practice to the company’s Hamilton office where he will continue to work with clients across western Montana. Passuccio and another longtime financial professional, Mike Hudson, vice president and financial consultant, have formed a partnership to operate as a team and provide continued strong service to clients. Passuccio joined D.A. Davidson in May 2004 and, until recently, served as a financial professional in the firm’s Missoula office. He and Hudson work together to serve clients, providing a variety of investment products and services to individual investors and businesses to help them reach their financial goals. Robert Farmer was promoted to corporate training director at Missoula Federal Credit Union. Farmer has worked for MFCU for nine years and has spent the last three years coordinating and facilitating training for employees. As corporate training director, Farmer will now oversee all training for employees, members and volunteers.
Molly McEvoy and James Corbin have taken new positions within Missoula Federal Credit Union. McEvoy has worked for MFCU for five years and is moving from FSR supervisor. Corbin has worked for MFCU for two years and is moving from marketing representative to corporate trainer. He will focus on providing financial education to MFCU members and the Missoula community.

Chas Cartwright, superintendent of Glacier National Park announced that the Montana District Office of the U.S. Small Business Administration has chosen the National Park Service at Glacier National Park as its Agency of the Year. The award recognizes Glacier National Park’s achievements in support of the Business Development Program.
Wendy Swanson, director of education at Missoula Sylvan Learning, received the Academic Achievement Award at the Sylvan Annual Conference. The award was presented by the Northwest Association of Accredited Schools for the Sylvan Center with the highest percentage of academic growth in the northwest region.
The Plains Take Off Pounds Sensibly Club Inc. selected coordinator Linda Bursell of Plains to participate in “Time to Shine,” an international recognition event. TOPS’ field staff was invited to their International Headquarters in Milwaukee, Wis., for the “Time to Shine” opportunity, which took place in late October. Bursell has served the chapters and members Montana for three years as coordinator.
