Mental health center offers case management and crisis services

The mission of Western Montana Mental Health Center is to assist individuals with mental illness, mental illness and chemical dependency, and/or severe emotional challenges. WMMHC provides assessment and referral, comprehensive medical management, case management, residential crisis services, day treatment, outpatient therapy, homeless outreach and mobile crisis response.

- A young, disabled single mother could use car seats and Christmas presents for her two young children. The children are a girl, 5, and a boy, 7. If you can help, call Jamie at 532-9742.

- A disabled veteran is in need of household items, including full-size sheets, pillows, blankets, broom, dishes and silverware. Call Ali at 532-9724.

- A disabled veteran is in need of a new winter coat, preferably water and/or wind proof, size XL. Call Ali at 532-9724.

- A disabled woman is in need of gifts for her 13-year-old daughter. She likes music, movies, books, video games. Gift cards are OK. Call Ali at 532-9724.

- A disabled veteran is in need of gifts for his 2-year-old granddaughter. She likes princesses, Dora and books. She needs clothing size 3T. Call Ali at 532-9724.

- A mentally disabled, single mother is in need of winter clothes for her two young daughters, ages 11 and 12. The 11-year-old wears a size 10/12 shirt, a size 8 in pants, and a size 7 shoe. The 12-year-old wears a size large in juniors shirts, a size 14/16 in juniors pants and size 8 in shoes. Both girls could use coats as well, sizes medium and extra large. - A disabled man's son is in a group home. He needs men's size XL long sleeve shirts, a zip-up hooded sweatshirt, gloves, hat, scarf, and underwear size 36/38.

- A disabled woman is in need of XL shirts and size 11/12 pants.

- A disabled woman needs size 2XL shirts, size 38/40 pants, and a 2XL winter coat. For the above, call Jamie Michalies, 532-9749.

- A disabled man needs two pairs of jeans size 34, a couple of T-shirts, socks, underwear (34), ballcap, and a size large winter coat.

- A disabled man would like an acoustic guitar, a large jogging suit, underwear (40), socks, pants (40) and T-shirts.

- A disabled man needs pants, size 46/32, size XXL shirts, underwear (44/46), Russell athletic dry-power socks size 6-12, paintbrushes for art, odorless paint thinner, gloves and a wallet. For the above, please call Brenda, 532-9772.

- A single mother is hoping to have a few things to put under the tree for her 5-year-old son. She is working very hard to better her life and would appreciate some help. Her son would love a basic Lego set. His mother would like for him to have a pair of snowpants size 5 and a pair of snowboots size 10. It would be wonderful for the Mom to receive a giftcard to Wal-Mart so she could get some new undergarments. Please call Lisa at 532-9730.

- A disabled man needs a working bicycle for transportation. Please call Shirley at 532-9752.

- A disabled woman's son is visiting from out of state and she can't afford to buy him a gift. Movie tickets and/or a food gift card would very much be appreciated. Her car is also broken and she needs assistance getting it fixed. Call Marci at 532-9780.

- A disabled mother of two boys, ages 13 and 8, cannot afford Christmas gifts for them. She would like to get the older one a pair of jeans size 25 and a large long sleeve shirt, and the younger one some jeans size 10 and socks. A gift card would be appreciated also. Call Yoko at 532-9753.

- A severely mentally disabled young man needs furniture for his new home. He does not have anything at the moment. He could use a bed, chairs, couch, table, etc. Call Jamie at 532-9742.

- A mentally disabled young man is in great need of winter clothes. He wears size 2XL in a coat, size 34 pants, size 10 in shoes, and size L-XL for shirts. Call Jamie at 532-9742.

- A brain-injured mentally ill woman with high shelter costs who loves music would like a CD player or a gift card to Wal-Mart.

- A woman on disability income, who uses music to help her through her depression, would greatly appreciate a gift certificate to Walmart.

- An elderly disabled woman who struggles with severe depression would enjoy a gift certificate to Wal-Mart to help with food and household items.

- A recently homeless man with few furnishings for his new apartment would like a used bookcase and a gift card to Wal-Mart.

- A newly single mom of four who is struggling to get on her feet would like a gift certificate to Wal-Mart for food and household items. She would also greatly appreciate the following for her kids: a girl age 8 needs clothes size 14, shoes size 3, snowpants, socks, and pants. She likes art and drawing, Littlest Pet Shop and Pollies. A boy, age 5, needs size 5 snow pants, underwear and socks. He likes games and puzzles, Care Bears and Legos. Another boy, also age 5, needs size 5 snow pants, underwear and socks and likes Legos, dinosaurs and drawing. And a little girl, age 2, needs size 4 snowpants. She likes drawing and interactive toys and blocks.

- A disabled female veteran is in need of groceries and clothing and would greatly appreciate a gift certificate to Wal-Mart.

- A previously chronically homeless mentally ill woman who has been in stable housing for six months now would like a gift certificate to Wal-Mart for food and household items.

- A chronically homeless man who, due to his disability, won't stay at the shelter even when the weather is sub-freezing, has no income, no shelter and could use funds to stay at a motel on the coldests of nights. He could also use clothing, size extra large. He also needs a new cart to tote his few belongings because the wheels and tires are broken. Call Catherine at 532-9734.
