Helena man claims $10,000 lottery prize

HELENA (AP) - The first of 11 prizes won in the 2008 Montana Millionaire lottery drawing has been claimed.

Marq Piocos of Helena won $10,000 and collected his winnings on Friday. Piocos bought the ticket on Wednesday, the final day of sales. He says will put some of the money toward the purchase of a car, and will save the rest.

On Friday the Montana Lottery released the winning ticket numbers for the Montana Millionaire game.

A Town Pump store in Butte sold ticket number 089574, worth $1 million. There are five tickets each good for $100,000 and five, including the one bought by Piocos, each good for $10,000.

Sale of tickets began on Nov. 1.
