The No. 3 Montana Grizzlies are 11-0 after their win at Montana State on Saturday, but are not a lock for one of the top two seeds in the Football Championship Subdivision playoffs.
They'll find out their seeding and opponent Sunday at 1 p.m. Mountain, when the NCAA announces the playoff pairings on ESPNews. The Griz seem certain to be a top-four seed, meaning a good chance of two playoff games at Washington-Grizzly Stadium. A top-two seed would mean another week as host team, in the semifinals, if the Griz keep winning.
The Griz were the No. 4 seed last season and won two home playoff games before stunning top seed James Madison on the road in the FCS semifinals. They then lost to Richmond in the Division I Football Championhip.
In the likely event Montana hosts a first-round playoff game Saturday, season ticket holders will have until 6 p.m. Tuesday to purchase their seats. Season seats not purchased by then will be released for sale to the general public Wednesday morning. Prices are $29 for the general public, $5 for UM students and $10 for a university student guest.
Other tickets can be purchased beginning at 7 a.m. Monday at the Source in the University Center - the only place university students can buy their $5 tickets - and at 8:30 a.m. at the Adams Center Box Office. The ticket office will be closed Thursday; the Source will be closed Thursday through Saturday.
Tickets may also be purchased online at Griztix.com, by fax at (406) 243-2514, or by phone at (406) 243-4051 and (888) 666-8262, though callers can expect long waits. Tickets purchased online by 6 p.m. will be available for pick-up the next business day.
