Good Monday morning, western Montana! It's back to work and school today after the Thanksgiving break, and the National Weather Service says the skies will be mostly sunny.
First, though, expect patchy freezing fog this morning before 11 a.m. Then will come the sun, and predicted high temperatures of 45 in Hamilton, 42 in Missoula, 43 in Polson, and 41 in Kalispell and Libby.
There's also a cold front headed our way from Canada, so some parts of western and central Montana should be on the watch for high winds as the new weather arrives.
The Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather outlook for portionf of central, north-central and southwestern Montana, beginning tonight.
That means strong and gusty nighttime winds, colder temperatures and the possibility of snow - although accumulations will likely stay under 2 inches.
