BEND, Ore. - Eddy, a longtime resident of Bend, died June 20, 2009, after a hiking accident in the remote Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness where he had been on a rafting trip. Friends, family and the Lemhi County sheriff’s office searched for four days before finding him. He was doing what he loved to do.

HAMILTON - Marie-Louise (Boursy) Bishop died July 4, 2009 in Hamilton after a return battle with cancer. She came to the Bitteroot Valley in 1997 to be closer to some of her children following her husband’s death, and had been a parishioner at St. Francis in Hamilton since arriving in the valley.
